H. Zane Fraker, 92, of Wertman Lane, Needmore, PA, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at his home.
Born February 23, 1932 at Fort Littleton, PA, he was a son of the late John Hunter and Mabel Mary (Gobin) Fraker. He was united in marriage to the former Glenda Gale Rietdorf on May 31, 1956. Mrs. Fraker survives at their home.
He is also survived by four daughters, Mary Catherine Poffenberger and husband Douglas of Needmore, Deborah Lynn Davidson and husband Bart of Richmond, KY, Tammy Rae Watkins and husband Kenny of London, KY and Lori Beth Horner and husband Kevin of Pleasant Gap, PA, eleven grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
Mr. Fraker was a member of the Needmore Bible Church, Needmore, PA, where he served as a deacon. He was also a member of The Gideons International, Fulton County Camp.
He was last employed by the Fulton County Community Christian School as an administrator and business manager and prior to that as the farm manager at Oneida Baptist Institute, Oneida, KY and by Champion Paper, Hamilton, OH, as a purchasing agent.
Mr. Fraker was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U. S. Air Force.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Needmore Bible Church, 6939 Great Cove Road, Needmore, PA with Pastors Douglas Poffenberger and Brandon Hill officiating. Interment will be made at the Needmore Bible Church Cemetery, adjacent to the church. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.
