Weldon B. Ramsey

Weldon B. Ramsey, 75, of Harrisonville, PA, died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at his brother’s residence in Mercersburg, PA.

Born on March 2, 1947 in Harrisonville, PA, he was the son of the late Benjamin C. and Justina (Weiser) Ramsey.  He was united in marriage to Janie Joccile Long-Phillips.  Mrs. Ramsey preceded in death on December 25, 2000.

He is survived by siblings Gloria Black, Three Springs, PA, Edgar Ramsey and wife Margaret, Mercersburg, PA, Inez Chess and husband David, New Stanton, PA and Billy Ramsey, Harrisonville, PA and sister-in-law Larma Jane Ramsey, Harrisonville, PA.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by step-son Jimmy Wayne Long and siblings Morris Ramsey, Joseph Ramsey, Calvin Ramsey, Terry Ramsey and Bonnie Ramsey.

He was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force.

During his lifetime, he enjoyed taking care of his cats.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt Street, Hustontown, PA with Pastor Dustin Wink officiating.  Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 - 8:00 PM on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
