T. Glenn Winegardner

Thaddeus Glenn Winegardner, 92, of Fort Littleton, PA, died Friday, April 24, 2026 at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.

Born on September 26, 1933 in Fort Littleton, PA, he was the son of the late Thad and Emma (Gelvin) Winegardner.  He was united in marriage to Emma Jean Leidy on September 14, 1957.  Mrs. Winegardner survives at home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Glenn Robert Winegardner, McConnellsburg, PA, daughter Kim Rizzardo, Carlisle, PA, granddaughter Ashley Rizzardo, McKees Rock, PA, grandson Tyler Rizzardo, Buffalo, NY and brother Galen Winegardner, Dry Run, PA.

He was also preceded in death by infant son Brian Gregory Winegardner and siblings Dale Winegardner, LaVerne Brown, Lois Frehn and Emma Lee Brown.

Mr. Winegardner was a graduate of Hustontown High School - Class of 1952.  

He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1954-1955.  During his service, he was an engineer and equipment mechanic while stationed in Alaska and later received the National Defense Service Medal.

Mr. Winegardner attended Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, Shade Gap, PA.

He was a member of the Fort Littleton Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge, American Legion Post 561, McConnellsburg, PA and a board member of the Clear Ridge Cemetery Association.

During his lifetime, he was employed at H. J. Williams Construction, Letterkenny Army Depot, PENNDOT and later retired from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.  He enjoyed working on the family farm, rabbit and deer hunting and being around his family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 27, 2026 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt Street, Hustontown, PA with Pastor Dennis Hunsinger officiating.  Interment will be at Clear Ridge Cemetery, Hustontown, PA with the Fulton Honor Guard providing military honors.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Monday.
