Susan R. (Brantner) Coughlin

Susan R. Coughlin, 65, of Waterfall, PA, died Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA.

Born on April 20, 1958 in McConnellsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd C. and Lois (Strait) Brantner. She was united in marriage to Michael Coughlin. Mr. Coughlin survives at their home. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Christopher Coughlin, Michelle Coughlin, Tiffany Cook and Stephen Coughlin.  There are five grandchildren.  Siblings Richard K. Brantner, Russell E. Brantner and Elizabeth M. Miller also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Joyce A. Thomas and Randy C. Brantner.

During her lifetime, she was a homemaker.  She enjoyed working outside with her flowers and making crafts.  She was known as an excellent cook.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Center United Methodist Church, 3195 Doran Road, Waterfall, PA 16689 with Pastor Becky Cutchall officiating.
