Phyllis E. McClure

Phyllis E. McClure, 74, of N. Clear Ridge Road, Hustontown, PA, died Friday, November 29, 2024 at Mercy House, Chambersburg, PA.

Born May 20, 1950 at Somerset, PA, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Eugene and Dorothy Ellen (Benson) Fix. She was united in marriage to Fred G. McClure, Jr. on March 21, 1970. Mr. McClure preceded in death on March 5, 1999.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth McClure and wife Wendy of Fayetteville, PA, three grandsons, several great grandchildren and one brother, Terry Fix of Hustontown. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa McClure and Pam McClure and two brothers, Dale Fix and Ronnie Fix.

Mrs. McClure was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church, Harrisonville, PA and the Ladies Aid group of the church.

She was employed at Everhart and Hoover, Inc., Hustontown, PA for 40 years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at the Fairview United Methodist Church, 2288 N. Hess Road, Harrisonville, PA with Rev. Fred Marz officiating. Interment will be made at Fairview Cemetery, adjacent to the church. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
