Phyllis June Long, 73, New Grenada Highway, Waterfall, PA died at 6:35 PM, Friday, May 1, 2020 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
Born June 11, 1946 at Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles T. and Ora (Helman) Ramsey.
She was married to Ray Allen Long on July 13, 1968 at the Three Springs parsonage by Rev. Paul Kibler. Mr. Long survives at home.
Two children survive: Lisa Ramos, Waterfall and Michael Long, Cove Gap, PA.
There are four grandchildren: Brianna Long, Maddax Long, Kiara Tu, and Kylee Tu.
A sister Lois Kay Ramsey and an infant brother preceded in death.
Mrs. Long was a homemaker. In earlier years, she had worked at Howard Johnsons on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Martinsburg Shoe Co., Martinsburg, PA and at US Envelope, Cup Dept., Williamsburg, PA.
She was of the Protestant Faith.
Mrs. Long enjoyed reading, caring for flowers and collecting salt and pepper shakers and glassware.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the family will be having private services. Rev. Chris Elliott will officiate with interment following at the Dublin Mills Community Church Cemetery, Hustontown, PA.
