Margaret "Peggy" I. (Nesbit) Kelso

Margaret Iris “Peggy” Kelso, 92, North Fifth Street, McConnellsburg, PA died Sunday morning, July 14, 2019 at the Shook Home, Chambersburg, PA.

Born April 6, 1927 at McConnellsburg, she was the daughter of the late Clarence K. and Mary (Tritle) Nesbit.  She was married to Malcolm Eugene “Gene” Kelso.  Mr. Kelso preceded in death on October 18, 1979.

Three children survive: Richard L. Kelso and wife Diane, Rantoul, IL.; Randy D. Kelso, McConnellsburg, PA; and Donna Kay Shover and husband Randy, Harrisonville, PA.

A son Dennis E. Kelso preceded in death in 2011.

There are 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

One sister is deceased.

A homemaker, Mrs. Kelso was of the Methodist Faith.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 19, 2019 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt Street, Hustontown, PA with her son Richard L. Kelso officiating.  Interment will be at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
