Kenneth Hall Obituary

Kenneth Eugene Hall, 84, Log Cabin Road, McConnellsburg, PA died Friday morning, December 27, 2019 at his home.

Born May 1, 1935 in Huntingdon County, PA, he was the son of the late James Garfield and Helen Delilah (Russell) Hall.  He was married to Dorothy Marie (Brown) Hall on November 22, 1962 at the Fort Littleton Methodist Church. Mrs. Hall survives at home.

Mr. Hall is survived by a daughter Angela Kay (Hall) Black and husband Jeffrey, Hustontown, PA; a granddaughter Katrina Marie (Black) Mickey and her husband Joseph Edward and great grandchildren’ Jacob Edward Mickey and Kenzie Marie Mickey, all of McConnellsburg, PA and a grandson Dylan Jeffrey Black and his wife Kirsten Elaina (Mellott) Black of McConnellsburg, PA.

A daughter Lori Ann Hall and a son Kevin Eugene Hall preceded in death.

Four brothers and two sisters survive: Richard Leroy Hall, Greencastle, PA; Ronald Byron Magruder, Fairhope, PA; Wilbur Harry Imler, Manns Choice, PA; Steven Allen Imler, Everett, PA; Virginia Eileen (Hall) Swope, Monroe, GA; and Mary Grace (Imler) Greenleaf, Roaring Spring, PA.

A brother Darrell Zane Magruder is deceased.

Mr. Hall was in the US Army from 1954-1962 serving in Germany, Korea and France.

During his life he worked at farming, the Pennsylvania Railroad, Letterkenny Army Depot, PennDot for 25 years, Value Engineering, Harrisburg, PA for 14 years and later at Keller Engineering before finally retiring in 2010.  He began his working career at age 13.

He was a member of the Fort Littleton Methodist Church until its closing and then belonged at Dublin Mills Community Church until his death.

His family was first and foremost, but he enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf.

Mr. Hall’s final request is that any and all who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal saviour, please do it now before it is too late.  It is never too soon.

Private graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 30, 2019 at the Fort Littleton Cemetery, Fort Littleton, PA with Pastor Sam Stoey officiating. 

The Fulton Honor Guard will provide military honors at the cemetery.

Arrangements are by the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown, PA.
