Julie L. Ramsey

Julie L. Ramsey, 66, of North Clear Ridge Road, Hustontown, PA, died Monday, October 18, 2021 at UPMC Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, PA.

Born September 13, 1955 in Peters Twp., Franklin Co., PA, she was a daughter of the late Guy L. and Edith G. (Briggs) Spangler. She was united in marriage to Allen Ramsey who survives at their home.

She is also survived by two children, Pennie (Spangler) Blough and husband Tim of Greencastle, PA and Tex Angle and wife Mandy of Dry Run, PA, three step children, Josh Carbaugh of Mercersburg, PA, Devin Ramsey of Oklahoma and Shyann Ramsey of Harrisonville, PA, six grandchildren and four siblings, Trudy Dickerhoff of Hancock, MD, Beverly Funk of Mercersburg, PA, Connie Johns of Hustontown, PA and Terry Spangler of Mercersburg, PA. She was preceded in death by two step children, Cody Ramsey and Shauntel Beaton and one grandson, Conner Beaton.

Mrs. Ramsey attended Living Water Christian Outreach, Three Springs, PA. 

She retired from Chambersburg Hospital after approximately 25 years service as a nutritionist.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 22, 2021 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt St., Hustontown, PA with Pastor David Pine officiating. Interment will be made at Center Cemetery, Waterfall, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
