John Dean Henry

John Dean Henry, 85, North Clear Ridge Road, Hustontown, PA died Friday afternoon,

 August 28, 2020 at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born November 15, 1934 in Springfield Township, Huntingdon County, he was the son of the late J. Howard and Rosetta (Brown) Henry.

He was married to Phyllis J. Straley on October 8, 1955. Mrs. Henry survives at home.

One daughter Norma Baer and husband Robert B. Jr., survive of St. Thomas, PA  along with a granddaughter Angela Mitroka and husband Christopher, Downingtown, PA.  There are four great grandchildren: Matthew, Morgan, Andrew and Colton Mitroka.

A sister Roslie Wolfe survives of Mechanicsburg, PA.  A grandson Jeremiah Jaymes and two brothers Edgar and Kenneth Henry preceded in death.

Mr. Henry was of the Protestant Faith.

He retired from PennDOT after 27 years service.  In earlier years, he had worked at a sawmill and construction.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. 

Rev. David Ford will officiate.  Interment will be at Clear Ridge Cemetery, North Clear Ridge Road, Hustontown, PA.
