James E. Foster

James “Jim” Ellwood Foster, 80, of Harrisonville, PA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 5, 2024.

Jim was born on September 9, 1944 in Fulton County.

Jim attended Green Hill School and was a 1963 graduate of McConnellsburg High School. He was an extraordinary tool designer and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Technology in 2001. Jim was a veteran of the United States Air Force, an amazing athlete who loved all sports including fishing, hunting, and golfing, and an avid Pittsburgh and Penn State fan.

Jim was preceded in death by his father James E. Foster and mother Mildred J. (Sponsler) Foster, brother Gary L. Foster, sisters Sandra Sheffield and Linda Morningstar.

Jim is survived by his daughter Kimberly Chandler (Alex) of Chambersburg; beloved grandson Zachary Coscia; sisters Chyrel Foster, Sherry Caione; brother Gerald Foster and former spouse Beverly (Skvarka) Foster with whom he remained close with.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
