James M. Clippinger

James M. Clippinger, 94, of Givler Drive, Martinsburg, PA and formerly of Hustontown, PA died Friday, July 19, 2024 at Homewood at Martinsburg, Martinsburg, PA.

Born on July 17, 1930 in Taylor Township, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel and Ada (Barnett) Clippinger.  He was united in marriage to Evelyn L. Chesnut on December 1, 1950.  Mrs. Clippinger preceded in death on July 27, 2017.

He is survived by daughter Diane Keebaugh and husband Jack, Martinsburg, PA, grandchildren Aaron Keebaugh and wife Cari, Salem, Massachusetts and Ryan Keebaugh and wife Kristen, Stephens City, VA, great-grandchildren Harper and Sawyer, siblings Glenda Machia, Fred Clippinger, Mary Swartz, Donald Clippinger, Donna Raymond, George Clippinger, Freda Miller, Elaine Hutchinson and Esther Scott and sister-in-law Mona Clippinger.

Mr. Clippinger was preceded in death by daughter Carol Clippinger on July 25, 1968, step-mother Elsie Fields Clippinger and siblings Carl Clippinger, Robert Clippinger, Roger Clippinger, Anita Clippinger-Auker and infant sister Dorothy.

He was a member of the Memorial Church of the Brethren, Martinsburg, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt Street, Hustontown, PA with Jack Keebaugh officiating.  Interment will be at Hustontown Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
