Floyd C. Brantner, 91, formerly of Waterfall, PA, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the Long Term Care Unit of the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.
Born September 18, 1929 in East Providence Twp., Bedford Co., PA, he was a son of the late Marshall and Janet (Wright) Brantner. He was united in marriage to the former Lois Strait who preceded in death on July 4, 2002.
He is survived by five children, Richard K. Brantner of Everett, PA, Randy C. Brantner and wife Deb of Hustontown, PA, Susan R. Coughlin and husband Michael of Waterfall, PA, Russell E. Brantner and wife Annette of Three Springs, PA and Elizabeth M. Miller and husband Barry of Three Springs, PA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two brothers, Melvin R. Brantner of New Jersey and Arnold Brantner of Duncannon, PA. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce A. Thomas, one daughter in law, Karen Brantner, four sisters and one brother.
He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA, as a welder.
His hobbies, while at home, included yard work, gardening and repairing anything and everything.
Mr. Brantner was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U. S. Army.
Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
