Eunice F. (Wilson) Hawbaker

Eunice F. Hawbaker, 86, McConnellsburg, PA died Wednesday morning, December 11, 2019 at Long Term Care, Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. 

Born April 28, 1933 in Springfield Township, Huntingdon County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Bernice (Brown) Wilson.  She was married to Carl Marshall who preceded in death in 1985. She later married James A. Hawbaker on May 1, 1993. He died June 17, 2014.                 

A son Rodney Marshall, a daughter Rene Marshall Ritchey and an infant daughter Brenda Marshall preceded in death.  

A granddaughter Diane Walters and husband Greg survive of Big Cove Tannery, PA.  There are three great grandchildren: Bailey, Carson and Ali Walters.

Also surviving are four step children:  Sharon DeShong and husband Jim, McConnellsburg, PA; James P. Hawbaker and wife Faye, Huntingdon Beach, CA; Betsy Johnston, McConnellsburg, PA; and Paula Romero and husband Phil. Monrovia, CA.  There are 8 step grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren and 2 step great great grandchildren.

A brother, John Wilson, Leesburg, FL and two sisters Daphne Fraker, Fort Littleton, PA and Patsy Mellott, Hustontown, PA also survive.  Two sisters, Bernadine Mills and Doris House are deceased.

Mrs. Hawbaker was a member of the Lutheran church, McConnellsburg, PA.

She retired from Waring Corp., McConnellsburg after 15 years service.  Formerly she was employed at Sagner, Inc., McConnellsburg for 20 years.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 13, 2019 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt Street, Hustontown, PA with Pastor Richard Bernhard officiating. Interment will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
