Elva K. Figard

Elva K. Figard, 99, Middletown, PA, and more recently of Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle, PA passed Friday morning, July 24, 2020 at Claremont.

Born April 18, 1921 at Six Mile Run, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence David and Susan O’Della (Chamberlain) Figard.

She is survived by a daughter Marie Heidorn and husband “Rick”, Everett, PA.  There are two granddaughters, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Three brothers George Figard, Ross Figard and Glenn Figard and one sister Margaret (Figard) Johnson preceded in death.

She was retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania after 30 years of  service.

Elva was a faithful member of the First Church of God, Middletown, PA for many years.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 27, 2020 at the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Breezewood, PA with Pastor Kimberly Shifler officiating.

Arrangements are by the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt Street, Hustontown, PA.
