Alice I. Walker

Alice I. Walker, 79, of Waterfall Road, Waterfall, PA, died Monday, May 30, 2022 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born April 20, 1943 at Sidman, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Grace (Mellott) Garland. She was united in marriage to Nelson Walker on August 13, 1983. Mr. Walker survives at their home.

She is also survived by two children, Dody Lesher and husband Matthew of Chambersburg, PA, Martin Seylar and wife Angela of McConnellsburg, PA, two step children, Edwin Walker and wife Sue of Shippensburg, PA and Sharon Wagner and husband Tim of Hustontown, PA, eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two brothers, John Garland of Mercersburg, PA and Joe Garland of Chambersburg.

Mrs. Walker attended the St. Thomas Assembly of God Church, St. Thomas, PA.

She retired from the Forbes Road School District after 20 years service as a cafeteria cook.

She enjoyed quilting and doing various crafts.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt St., Hustontown, PA with Rev. Josh Baldwin officiating. Interment will be made at Center Cemetery, Waterfall, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until 2:00 PM on Thursday.
