Abraham Z. Clippinger

Abraham Z. Clippinger, 65, of Hopewell, PA, died Monday, August 1, 2022 at his son’s residence.

Born on February 26, 1957 in McConnellsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Eugene D. and Esther L. (Wright) Clippinger.

He is survived by children Craig Clippinger and wife Diane, Cooper Clippinger and wife Laura, Theresa Schmohe and husband Michael and Curtis Clippinger and wife Angel, fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Siblings Lambert Clippinger, Matilda Martz, Cassie Book, Jerry Clippinger, Ella Mae Peck, Nancy Bryan and Hattie Seville also survive.

Mr. Clippinger was preceded in death by siblings Eugene Clippinger, William Clippinger, Bertha Gordon, Sue Hofstetter and Merriam DeCiuceis.

During his lifetime, he was a farmer, laborer and later an off-bearer at Dodson Lumber and Rockwell Lumber.

He enjoyed listening and playing music on his guitar.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt Street, Hustontown, PA with Pastor Sam Stoey officiating.  Interment will be at Wells Valley Methodist Cemetery, Wells Tannery, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
